Lasanod, Somalia. It is Day 22 of Somaliland’s bombardment of Lasanod and its residents. The war seems to continue and Bihi and his cohorts keep lying to the international community; willfully misleading in their communiques that they are defending against an un-identified enemy. labelling anyone who disagrees in their annexation of Pro Union Lasanod as “Terrorists”. This is a clear sign of projection. A new addition to the list of “terrorists” is their own Abdirizak Khalif who is the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Somaliland; his crime: he disclosed that Muse Bihi’s actions in Lasanod are Genocidal and Muse refused to stop killing civilians in SSC.
At least seven SSC locals were killed today as a result of the intense fighting coordinated by SL militia. preparing to attack from the Western outskirts of Lasanod, several technical vehicles believed to belong to SL’s Millitary Fugitive, Mahad Cambashe ramped into foundational poles of the Electric power grid; blackening the city for the second night in a row. One Sompower employee was killed while 6 other staff were taken hostage. Additionally, some of the heavy mortar unleased from Goja-cadde SL military base targeted the main hospital, demolishing the Blood bank section. These atrocities are contrary to conventions of warfare when disproportionate use of lethal power is used by state actors against civilian populations.
Meanwhile, according to the speaker of the locally elected 33 member consultative committee, Abdirisaq Falalug “Lasand and its citizens are bleeding; with no Power and Water supply”, he called for immediate intervention by the International community and FGS. As part of their desprate plan to re-capture lasanod and to kill and distroy, Muse Bihi has just ordered UK funded Rapid Respons Units of Somaliland police to be deployed to Lasanod.
