Dear International Community,
I am writing to bring to your attention two pressing issues that require immediate action in Lasanod Somalia. The first issue is the false accusations made by Muse Bihi, the leader of secessionist Somaliland, against the traditional leaders of Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn (SSC). The traditional leaders have responded to these accusations, stating that they are not terrorists, but it is Muse Bihi and the SNM Terrorists who are working together to create regional instability and commit acts of genocide. The traditional leaders have reported that Muse Bihi has brought in illegal weapons and armed vehicles to the region, leading to the deaths of 30 children and women in January alone.
The second issue is the deployment of tanks and heavy weapons by Muse Bihi, with the intent to commit genocide in Lasanod. This conflict has the potential to escalate and spread across Somalia, adding to the 30 years of civil war the country has already faced. We urge the International Community to take swift and decisive action to prevent further violence and loss of life.
It is imperative that the International Community takes a closer look at these issues and takes appropriate measures to prevent Muse Bihi from committing further acts of violence and genocide. We request the International Community and the International media to start immediate consultations to send observers to Lasanod and monitor the situation closely. This is an urgent matter as Muse Bihi has a proven track record of being a dangerous genocider, having killed many people in Somalia under the extreme clan enclave rebel SNM.
We cannot allow 30 years of civil war to continue in Somalia and the International Community has a responsibility to act now to prevent the escalation of violence and loss of life. We implore the International Community to take swift and decisive action to bring an end to the conflict in Lasanod and to hold those responsible for committing acts of violence and genocide accountable.
Sincerely,
